2.2 Install Problem

Having a problem installing 2.2 on my Titanium.  It completes the 
install process, but seems to be unable to install the bootblock.  This 
is on a machine that I had previously had 2.1 on, but I had reformatted 
the linux partitions (left the Mac stuff alone).  When I get to the 
bootblock part of the installer it fails, with some kind of python error.

Is there any way around this?  Can I somehow run ybin manually with the 
correct kernel information?
