Searching archive of Yellow Dog mailing list

mailman is the excellent mailing list manager this list is run on. See 
http://www.list.org for more.  htdig is a search engine that you can use 
for a website. - http://www.htdig.org. There are two patches written by 
Richard Barrett to integrate the two together so that the main archive 
page contains a search field that allows you to query the archives, 
while maintaining private / public list accessibility.  However, this is 
something that the administers running the machine hosting this list 
have to set up, but well worth looking into if you host your own mailman 
lists.
