2.1 install fails at disk formatt

                 9.2 up and running
                 

    I have reinstalled all of the original drives, unplugged everything and
retried installation. It still hangs during the partition formatt. It's
gotta be the video card. Can no longer upgrade to OS 10.1 either. I once had
OS 10.1 up and running before I had to replace the stock video card. Please
advise. In need of a term.
