java (kernel?) problems on YDL 2.2. IBM sdk falls over.

Hi Folks,

	I've sent this to IBM as well. Does anybody have any idea?


I have  installed YDL 2.2 on a wallstreet G3 powerbook:

java: IBMJava2-SDK-1.3.1-0.0
kernel: 2.4.18-0.8a
glibc-2.2.5-0.19a

The latest IBM java sdk falls over with messages like

/opt/IBMJava2-ppc-131/bin/java
**Out of memory, aborting**

*** panic: JVMST058: Cannot allocate memory in initGcHelpers(3)
Abort

Is this some floating stack thing? What can I do???????

Anybody have any ideas?
