Can't install on 6500

Hi,

I'm trying to install YDL 2.2 on my 6500 and i get as far as copying
packages and then it fails saying

please correct manually

How can i get further than this ? i have checked the partition has occured
correctly which it has and the formatting is ok, it just wont let me
install.

Any help will be much appreciated.
