ydl 2.1 hard disk install (no boot disk possible)

Ok, i'm really out of my depth with macs. I was under the impression
that bootx wouldn't run on new world rom machines? I haven't had time to
do anything besides copy the cd to the mac partition, but i did quickly
try to use the bootx installer. It said something like "need old world
rom machine". I'm planning to have enough time to do this on tuesday, so
i'll have a closer look at it then. If this doesn't work again, i don't
suppose you or anyone else knows how to do a hard disk install with
yaboot? (and again i can't use any boot disk, the cd drive wont read them).

Thanks.
