yaboot is messed up

I built a non-workable kernel, and now I need to boot from the old one.
Unfortunately, I didn't notice that my yaboot.conf file has the
identical labels for both kernels; so I boot up, get the the prompt, and
then tab for the options they both say "* linux". Doh. Is there any
way to choose the second option without typing it, or failing that, how
can I restore to sanity?

I booted off the CD, mounted the drive, and fixed yaboot.conf, but I
can't seem to figure out how to run ybin from there.
