Hi Alex,

That's probably because 2.4.18 final and later kernels don't work on
the 867 MHz G4s (the latest I've tried is 2.4.19-pre7-ben0).  I'm not
sure what's broken in the kernel.  I'm using a 2.4.17-pre2-ben0 kernel
and that works fine, and I believe others have reported success with
some 2.4.18-preX kernels.  If the YDL 2.2 installer allows you to use
an alternate kernel (maybe with a hard drive installation option), then
you could try that route.  You might want to try the 2.4.17 final kernel,
as that should be relatively easy to obtain.
