Sound on YDL v2.2 via ALSA

Hi Graham,

I tried building the Alsa drivers too.  I ended up with the sound 
permanently at full volume.  Have you tried using xmms with the OSS plug in 
to set the sound level?

I couldn't get xmms to work with alsa - I get some assertion error from the 
alsa library that prevents xmms from loading at all.  I tried to build the 
alsa version of wmix but that wouldn't compile.  It seems like we have 
opposite but equally unsatisfactory outcomes!
