Hey Shawn,

I found the problem on my end/ no fix yet. I have a similar setup/ different
cpu.  It is having trouble with the sound source.  It either can't open
/dev/dsp, or a sound server like esd or artsd won't release the device to
the default oss driver.  I can get video by manually changing the ~/.oglerc
audio devive to /dev/null.

You might want to see if that helps/hurts.  If I find a solution, I'll post
it.
