YUP! problem...

Never mind. I managed to get it working.

When RPM installed yup-0.7.6-9b, it did say something about 
'/etc/ydl.conf created as /etc/ydl.conf.rpmnew'. After hunting them 
down & renaming the files (yup.conf to yup.conf.rpmold & yup.conf.rpmnew 
to yup.conf), it all seems to be working now.

So, since I've seen several issues with very similar problems to what I 
was experiencing, perhaps an old, or corrupted yup.conf file is the 
cause.
