Sendmail problems

Hello all,
This is my first post to the list and I hope it hasn't been seen before.=20=

For some strange reason I can only connect to sendmail during a ssh=20
session by typing the following:

telnet localhost 25

This works fine, but if I type the hostname or the ip address it refuses=20=

the connection. This is true of external connections as well. Any help=20=

would be greatly appreciated.
