YDL 2.3 Installation on iBook 600mhz

I erased the entire disk and left it as unallocated - this is from the Mac
Side using DiskUtils...

Once again, same result, no hard disk found.

I would be glad to repartition them during the install but I can't, it
cannot see  the Hard Drive at all.

P.S.  I was reading an older post with regards to a similar problem on a G4.
Is there something up with the ata-bus? It seems that the G4 was having the
issue since it was working on a ata-100 bus.  When they switched it down to
66mhz bus it worked fine.

I seem to remember something similar... I think you cannot "reuse"
partitions already created, so you need to create them during the
install process. Anyway that's what I did. After a failed attempt I
started a new, wiped all partitions and re-created them. Voilą.
