The CD burning appears to be OK with the MD5SUM below.

The gui installation did succeed (iBook model M8600LL/A), however, I am
still having some video related problems. Previously, with YDL 2.3, I
could not get the gui install to work at all, my screen would washout on
booting the CD. I had to resort to "text-safe-mode"(?) during
installation, (I don't remember the exact wording.) Now the gui
installation works, however, I still have to change the XF86Config-4
file for "radeon" to enable X to start, also 32 bit mode fails and must
use 24 bit.

Now, I am having a problem that when I log out of Gnome back to console
the previous console messages cannot be cleared and the new console
messages are garbled on top of the old. I have to shut down and restart
to clear the screen.
