Wallstreet running YDL 2.3.
Cardmgr beeps once, then freezes the system when a card is inserted. Luckily it comes back after about 30 seconds if the card is removed manually. I am trying to use a CF card in a SanDisk adapter. Here is the pertinent section from /var/log/messages from a typical test:

Dec 24 21:09:58 raven cardmgr[10565]: starting, version is 3.1.22
Dec 24 21:09:58 raven cardmgr[10565]: config error, file './config.opts' line 18: no function bindings
Dec 24 21:09:58 raven cardmgr[10565]: watching 2 sockets
Dec 24 21:10:29 raven cardmgr[10565]: initializing socket 1
Dec 24 21:10:29 raven cardmgr[10565]: socket 1: ATA/IDE Fixed Disk
Dec 24 21:10:29 raven cardmgr[10565]:   product info: "Ritek Co.   CF-ATA ", "Ver1.00 "
Dec 24 21:10:29 raven cardmgr[10565]:   function: 4 (fixed disk)
Dec 24 21:10:29 raven cardmgr[10565]: executing: 'modprobe ide-cs'
Dec 24 21:11:02 raven kernel: hde: no response (status = 0xff)
Dec 24 21:11:02 raven kernel: ide-floppy driver 0.97.sv
Dec 24 21:11:08 raven last message repeated 9 times
Dec 24 21:11:08 raven kernel: ide_cs: ide_register() at 0x130 & 0x13e, irq 23 failed
Dec 24 21:11:09 raven cardmgr[10565]: get dev info on socket 1 failed:
Resource temporarily unavailable
Dec 24 21:11:09 raven cardmgr[10565]: shutting down socket 1
Dec 24 21:11:09 raven cardmgr[10565]: executing: 'modprobe -r ide-cs'

In config.opts, I have tried:

# System resources available for PCMCIA devices
#These are the Originals
#include memory 0x90000000-0x9003ffff
#include port 0x1000-0x1fff
#These are as shown by YDL Support
#include memory 0x80000000-0x80ffffff
#include port 0x100-0x4ff, port 0x1000-0x17ff
#From .../yellowdog-general/2002-May/002132.html
#include memory 0x80000000-0x80ffffff
#include port 0x1000-0x1fff
#include port 0x100-0xaff
#From .../yellowdog-general/March02/0381.html
include memory 0x80000000-0x80ffffff <----line 18, according to kate
include port 0x100-0x1ff

This is getting annoying.
Does anyone have a set that works on a Wallstreet?
Is there some other problem?
Note that the card is correctly identified, but the driver is not working.
And what does "config error, file './config.opts' line 18: no function bindings" mean?
