PowerBook G4/800 install question.

Hello,
I have a G4 with a radeon 7500 in it. I can install fine with the text
install, but when I try to do the install-gui I notice that the kernel
says that there is no svga connected to my connector. I have a ViewSonic
E220 plugged into the svga connector. The monitor works fine under
Mac-OSX and the text installer finds it ok.
Any Ideas? How do you tell the video card to select the svga port
instead of the ADC port.
