Has support for the above mentioned device been removed from the YDL
installer kernel (and/or stock 2.4 kernel, but I hope not) as of YDL 2.3 ?

The installer finds neither my HD nor my CD (in ide cd-rw drive) when both
are hooked to said card with cables that worked well with YDL 2.2.  Nothing
about either drive or the pci controller appears in dmesg.

When I swap the CD-RW for a 600i SCSI CD-ROM, it fails to find my HD & the
card, but has no trouble with the CD.

Any ideas appreciated.  TIA,
