Manage network profiles

Is it possible to use the kernel-pcmcia-cs package to manage network
profiles on a machine with no pcmica cards? I have a powerbook 3400 which
has buildin ethernet, so I have no need for a pcmcia card, but I would
like to be able to swich network settings on boot, and via the commandline
while the system is running.
