SOLVED: Strange ksyms make modprobe fail: unresolved dependencies

Turning off CONFIG_MODVERSIONS solved the problem: no
more unresolved dependencies from the netfilter
modules.

Someone will have to look into why the correct
genksyms codes are not generated for the
net/ipv4/netfilter subtree. I'll give it an hour.
