I was able to get YDL-2.2 to install. The only trouble was that it needed
the "hdc=ide-scsi" fix. Except that there isn't a second channel so it needs
to be "hdb=ide-scsi". After that, YDL fell on to it.

Sound worked out of the box for me. The only trouble, post-install, that I
had was playing DVDs. The picture was full of artifacts. I'm assuming it
had to do with the NVidia chip. No biggy, I'll watch DVDs on the TV.

I only had the iLamp-800 for a couple of days. Our local Linux User Group
had a linux showcase/expo and I was able to get the iLamp loaned to me for
the weekend. It was definately the show-stopper.

Good luck.
