YDL 2.3 onto XServe 1U?

Hello,

	I have an Apple Xserve 1U. I am trying to load YDL 2.3 onto it as a
single image machine (no dual boot or OS-X). Has anyone done this
sucessfully? I can get the CD to boot in text install mode but the
machine will not accept any keyboard input. I have tried a MAC USB
keyboard and mouse as well as a 104-key/USB "Wintel style" keyboard.
Neither keyboard works. The first screen to appear is the YDL liability
screen with the Accept/Decline?. You cannot even tab, arrow, space or
anything. It is as if the keyboard is not there. I noted that some of
the 2.4 USB and HID drivers loaded at boot time. Graphical install never
comes up although I do not know if it is due to the Radeon or the USB
mouse not being detected.

	Someone at Apple mentioned YDL to me as an alternative to OSX but so
far loading is a mystery. Does anyone have any clues?
