6500/250 2.2 install freeze

I have tried to install YD 2.2 on a Powermac 6500/250 
with 96m of ram 
multiple times.  Every time the installer gets to 
ghostscript-fonts it
crashes.  It has a 4g HD, I gave 300m to the Mac OS 
200m to swap and the
rest to root.

Default install option.
I have tried the everything and development package 
selection with both
resulting in the same issue.

Any ideas would be appreciated!
