This is a apparently a fairly common problem with YDL installs. You have=20=

several options to fix this. You can edit the /etc/sysconfig/desktop=20
file (Press command-option-F1 (or any other F Key) to get a textual=20
login screen) and change the line DESKTOP=3DKDE to DESKTOP=3DGNOME. You =
can=20
also run Xconfigurator from the prompt and change your login to text=20
instead of graphical.
