Burning ISO image problem solved

Thanks to all the helpful suggestions. As it turns out, none of them 
were correct in this case. On a whim I tried a different CD burner. It 
burned the images no problem. So now I have copies of YD, Debian, 
LinuxPPC (from long ago), and Mandrake Linux. All downloaded because I 
thought I was getting bad images. :)

Any opinions on which one is would be best for me to use? I assume most 
of you will say Yellow Dog.
