No, the *point* is that you are doing a binary package and RPM is far
better suited for that than a tarball. Nobody prevents you from
modifying the .spec file for the apache RPM to build *your* apache.

That's not a very good example. I can throw things like dependencies
back at you and we'll be going on till we get bored.
