ok ladies and gents! i got the cdrom issues resolved. i just told the fstab
that the cdrom was located at /dev/hdb and all was well.
anyhoo, here's the new issue. i love galeon alot! i think it's a killer
browser. so i figured in order to make my life complete i should get flash
installed for it. so i got the linux flash version and followed the
instructions and put it in the plugins dir. however, since galeon runs off
of mozilla, i put it in the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins dir instead since i
dunno if galeon even HAS a plugins dir (i looked up info on it and couldnt
find any).
it didn't work :( so i fired up mozilla and tested to see if it at least
worked in mozilla. it did not. what am i doing wrong? i've done this in the
past for slackware, redhat, and mandrake using the netscape browser and got
flash working just fine. why won't it work in mozilla?
will i be forced to use netscape?? ack!!
thanks for your time!
