KDE 3 problems

I have a different error that I can't seem to find a solution to:

When I try to do the rpm --replacefiles -i * to do the install of the
KDE 3.0 packages, I get this error:

error: failed dependencies:
	/etc/X11/xdm/Xservers is needed by kdebase-3.0.0-2b
	/etc/X11/xdm/Xwilling is needed by kdebase-3.0.0-2b

However, I have been unable to find anything about Xservers or Xwilling
in the xdm packages or on the web...

any ideas?
