 Drat! Well this could mean one of two things: 1) the list I gave you is
incomplete (likely) or 2) when you did gcc-* did you make sure to include
the '*'? Type

 rpm -qa | grep gcc

to be sure, you should get something like:

gcc-chill-2.95.4-4j
gcc-2.95.4-4j
gcc-g77-2.95.4-4j
gcc-c++-2.95.4-4j
gcc-objc-2.95.4-4j


 If this doesn't work, do this command:

 rpm -qa > toms_rpms.txt

 and email the file (toms_rpms.txt) to me. I'll have a look and see what
you are missing.
