I'm using an lcd17 on a G4/450 sawtooth w/Rage128. The card in this
machine has dvi, not adc, so the display is connected with a DVIator.
If I boot with video=aty128fb:1280x1024-8@60, everything works pretty
well, although the r128 accelerated X driver spits out complaints (but
continues to run). X is running with 16-bit color.

NBL: It will _only_ run at 1280x1024, which is the max. Any lower
resolution fails completely. But that's ok with me, since I want
1280x1024 anyway.

With the standard YDL2.2 kerne the r128 accelerated driver prints the
following errors (but continues to run):

  (EE) R128(0): No DFP detected
libGL error: failed to open DRM: Operation not permitted
