EXcellant!
About 2 hours after I posted, I got the darn thing running.
I had the i82365 for the PCIC field. I'll change that. The
memory settings you have in config.opts are very close to mine.
I don't need the "ring thing" so I'll probably leave the settings
as they are. I found for myself the device is ttyS0.

It's sure great to have folks like you to help out. I'll "clean
up" my experience and post it.
