Proftpd HELP PLEASE! I'm begging!!

Ryan proftpd has a pretty active list you may want to post there.  I was=20=

having problems and they were quickly resolved there.  Can you connect=20=

via any other FTP client?  I have had some trouble using fetch with my=20=

own server.  It may be I have an old version fo fetch though.  You won't=20=

see ftpd running in an inetd mode it will only be active when there is a=20=

connection running.

I've really tried to solve this myself, but (obviously) I've had no
luck. I've checked my proftpd.conf file, it looks ok. And I've check
the xinetd.conf file, it looks kosher... I'm just really puzzled? I
have telnet and httpd up and running nicely.
