Solved Re: YDL 2.3 - Comm Slot ethernet card PMac 6500/225

With some help from the person who had patched the 2.2 kernel, I found
out that 
the patches to de4x5.c had not been applied to the 2.4.xx kernel that
ships with 
YDL-2.3. Once those patches have been applied and the kernel/module is
recompiled 
the ethernet card in the comm-slot works fine.

If anyone has problems with this I can supply the patch.
