Its asking for a reference to your currently running X desktop. host is
your hostname or IP address. Display is your display number, usually 0.

Subject: xset

I want to tweak my monitor settings using xset, but
I'm not sure how to reference my display.

Nothing I've tried seems to work. I thought it would be:

/dev/fb0

Here's what the program apparently wants:

xset [-display host:dpy] option

What are the correct parameters for "host:dpy", or how
to do retrieve this?

Thanks,

Drew
