Ports - Local Port Scan

Problem: look for open Ports (ftp, http, etc)

Hi!, try

% netstat tal

at prompt to see active ports (look in TCP protocol), if there is some
activity in a port the number of send and receive packages are
display...(in Solaris try with nmap, a litle program to do that, is much
simpler than netstat, probabibly you will nedd to compile it for Linux
PPC) think netstat have all the options you will ever need : )
