depmod, lsmod and modprobe problems

Sorry... I should have mentioned that I tried that as well with no result.

[root@website root]# /sbin/depmod -a
depmod: Can't open /lib/modules/2.2.19-1r/modules.dep for writing

Run depmod with the -a switch.
	[root@byteme /root]# depmod -a

This should rebuild your non-existant modules.dep file.
