I can't seem to console switch on the commandline with my ibook. No combination of shift/ctrl/option/... with alt-F2 seems to work. I can do it from X, but not from the command line. The only way I've found it the switchto command which is rather useless when I'm hung waiting for an nfs mount to time out.
