KDE and /dev/dsp

I've heard that the /dev/dsp change is ownership when you enter into
kde..... So only you will be able to play sound !!

On my box I get the same as you...and when I get a prob. with /dev/dsp
I do:
fuser /dev/dsp
and kill the process corresponding
It's working without any trouble !
