Java on YDL

I am trying to get a Java developer env going in Yellowdog. I installed
Yikes and J2re1.3.1 from cd 3 but I can't Jbuilder to find libjava.so. I
get an error

========= Executing JAVA =============================================
Error: can't find libjava.so.

Anybody have a clue. Im not even sure this is a Yellowdog problem but I
searched google and nobody else seems to be having this problem. I did
set env variables according to the directions.

Any ideas are appriciated.
