Tripwire

Has anybody ever gotten tripwire to work? I've seen one other post with
the same question and no answer. I can build the binaries with the
Makefile thinking it's a i686-pc-linux but that's no good. I tried
changing it to powerpc-unknown-linux but then it complains of an
powerpc-unknown-linux.inc not existing, which it doesn't. Could someone
help me compile and install this program?
