Hey folks.. I'm back!

Gonna dust off the 'ol 9600/MP again and fire it up for a new site that
we're going to start hosting RSN. Wondering a few things...

- Does YDL now ship with a SMP kernel? If not, what's a good kernel to
start with for ppc-smp systems of the slightly older persuasion (2.4.19
is what I'm using on the x86 boxes and its solid)? The -devel and
-general archives have varying tales of "Sure, just compile one and use
it" to "SMP is way broken" so I'm kinda unsure as to which direction to
go in.

- Other than apt-get for rpm, any other gotcha's / new stuff for
YDL-2.3? (Sites say a little, but ya never know :)

- Anyone running Zope on their YDL box? I don;t have a lot of
experience with Zope at all, but it seems like it should run, but I'd
like to know fer shure :)

On a side note.. trolling the website this afternoon shows that the
support pages say YDL runs on an Xserve with no blinky lights.. anyone
actually doing this in production? Any word if YDL (or linux in
general) will ever be able to use all four drives. I Guess I can live
without the blinky lights on the front, but they're just so damn cool!

Thanks

-n.. after much dealing with osx.. happy to be back with linux on ppc
