	Even the questions you ask are over my head as of now;  so
this may not be the specific help you ask; but you might still
find, as I do, that the YDL manual from Terrasoft is the best linux
book yet (of the 1 1/2 yards of them I have) -- because it's
written for intelligent users who know something *else*, and
therefore *says* things that all the others take so completely for
granted they make them hens' teeth to find out about.
