Hi folks,
I'm new to YDL and have a problem with video settings. I'm installing 
YDL 2.3 - recommended packages.

I have a G4 Cube with ATI 128 Pro, and Apple 17" Studio Display LCD 
connected using ADC. I installed using text-based installer but I can't 
seem to get any video after boot.

The installation guide says to use linux video=aty128fb:vmode:14 for 
kernel args at the secondary prompt, but that doesn't do it for me. 
There's a very brief flicker of some text and then it's black - 
permanently. I've also tried vmode 20 and novideo to no avail.

I can boot in safe mode using the tidbits cd - that seems fine. But I 
don't know how to set the video. I'd prefer to use 1280 x 1024 if 
that's supported, or 1024 x 768 if not.

p.s. Is this something which is better in 3.0?  I'm expecting it soon
