Does anyone here have a PowerBook G3 266/300 Wallstreet with the 14.1"
display running YDL 2.3? If so and you have XFree working in millions of
colors at 1024x768, could you please send me a copy of your
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file?

I installed two weeks ago on my 266, but I can't get XFree to work properly
-- I keep getting "no display" errors. Everything looks OK in the config
file except for most of the display properties being listed as "unknown."
I've found plenty of config files via Google for Pismo PowerBooks, but none
for a Wallstreet with 14.1" display running at 1024x768. I've tried using
dexter.py again but that didn't help -- perhaps there is a trick or two I
haven't tried, like selecting a different but similar display or using
Xautoconfig?

BTW, my kernel args for BootX are:

video=atyfb:vmode:14,cmode:24

The YDL support site recommends vmode:10 for this model PowerBook, but
that's only 800x600 (which would be the max resolution for the Wallstreet
with the 12.1" display, I believe). Any suggestions, tips, or tricks
welcome.

BTW, I found this page of possible kernel args used in BootX:

http://llpcform.sourceforge.net/fom-serve/cache/1043.html

Does anyone know of a similar comprehensive listing for variables found in
XF86Config-4 files?
