Rick,

Basically this probably is a non-problem.
I was only able to re-produce it while the
mirrors (public, that is) were still syncing updates.
I'm also about to download all errata on YDL 3.0
via YDL.net.  Try running apt-get update again
before running upgrade.  Also, make sure that you
actually have the 'base' repository in your sources.list
(and not just 'update').
