I have been able to compile and install KDE 3.1.3 by using konstruct. This=
=20
will automate all the steps involved including download and installation. T=
he=20
default installl point is ~/kde But you can change this to install into /us=
r=20
or /usr/local. It works great so let me know if you have problem with=20
konstruct.
