Internal Modem for a 500mhz iBook

If so, which one? Gnome, KDE, or IceQM...

I use Gnome 2 on Yellowdog Linux 3.0, the modem is the internal modem that 
ships with the iBook, I think its a conexant chipset but Im not sure.
