Function key's on PowerBook

Hi !!!

I ll be pleased if ANYONE answer me and help to resolve small starting question
about YDL 3.0 on Macintosh.
My HW: G4 Titanium 800 MHz 1Gb RAM Radeon Mobility 7500
USB MouseMan Traveler
SW: OSX 10.2.6 , Classic 9.2.2, Virtual PC 6, NT 4.0, RH 7.1

Question:
After installing YDL 3.0 I find out that can t use F10, F11, F12 in console mode

or with MC. In KDE they works but in terminal window they also not worked.
Showkey don t gave any code   why ???
What shell I change, where and how ?!?!?!?!
