More g5 booting

Wow you got farther than I would expect.  I didn't think Linux 
supported SATA (Serial ATA) drives yet, nor 250G drives.  Boot messages 
indicate that SCSI emulation of IDE (in this case SATA) drives is 
active.  It found two SATA controllers with a MAXTOR 250G drive on the 
first controller and no drive on the second.

Linux is trying to run the drives in UDMA mode and the transfer timed 
out.  status 0xD0 means device busy,device ready.  I know this really 
doesn't help but you did ask
