no bootloader found, Cannot configure kernel

I finally got Yellow Dog 3.0 installed on my PowerCenter Pro 240 and
immediately ran "yum update". It ran through it's routine and
everything appeared to going quite well. Toward the end, however, I
noticed the following:

<snip>
Kernel Updated/Installed, checking for bootloader
No bootloader found, Cannot configure kernel, continuing.
Installed: kernel.ppc kernel-smp.ppc
<snip>

Wuz up?

I then added the following lines to my yum.conf:

[updates301]
name=Yellow Dog Linux 3.0.1 updates
baseurl=ftp://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/yellowdog/yum/3.0.1/update/
~
~
~
~
"/etc/yum.conf" 19L, 577C written

Then I ran "upate" again:

Any ideas you have will be helpful. I'm not sure what the aic7xxx is
referring to.
