diald config?

Hi,

Has anyone gotten diald configured under YDL2.3?  I got the package (ver 
1.0) to compile (a few missing #include <time.h> statements in the 
source), but now I'm having trouble getting it configured.  I'm using 
the provided scripts in the ./setup directory of the source tree, 
modified to dial my own ISP, and have a USB modem at /dev/usb/ttyACM0, 
but diald never accesses the modem (the log file says it's trying to 
connect to the fake IP address from the configuration,but times out). 
Anyone have any suggestions?  (I've noticed some really old contrib rpms 
on rpmfind.net based on diald 0.99)
